ACP Women’s Program June Workshop: Effective Civilian Management

ACP's Women's Program teamed up with Cargill Mentor Traci Earls for our June professional development series workshop titled "Effective Civilian Management: What You Already Know As a Veteran." Traci reviewed her own experiences going from an officer in the Army to a supervisor in the civilian workforce, highlighting how to translate military skills into effective civilian management strategies. Key points included focusing on developing leadership, adjusting to cultural differences, setting an office example with respect to work/life balance, and staying authentic to individual skills and passions.
