ACP Women’s Program May Workshop: Finding the Right Corporate Fit

ACP's Women's Program teamed up with ACP Mentor Sharon Mahn for our May professional development workshop titled "Finding the Right Corporate Fit - What to Ask Yourself and What to Ask a Company." The workshop started off with the job search process, and how crafting a resume that speaks to personal interests can be a tool for finding a company that is a good cultural fit. The discussion then moved through different ways to strategically network in your community, and how to maximize tools like LinkedIn. Participants were able to ask Sharon specific questions about their resumes, the best ways to follow up on interviews, and ways to stay on a company’s radar.
