Christy Ferer
Christy Ferer founded VIDICOM, a pioneering media engine specializing in branded content and unique distribution platforms. Its subsidiary, Citybuzz, pioneered digital broadcasts online as well as in taxis, hotels, and in-flight.
Ferer began her career as an Emmy Award-winning political news reporter and as a lifestyle contributor for network morning news shows. She served as Mayor Bloomberg’s liaison to 9/11 families and on the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site after the 9/11 attacks. Ferer served as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for five years, and currently serves on the boards of the Jacob Javits Center, Aspen Art Museum, 9/11 Memorial and Museum in Lower Manhattan, 92NY, and the International Councils of the Whitney Museum and Centre Pompidou. Lastly, She is the recipient of The Matrix Award for Service Communications, The French Legion of Honor and an Officer of the French Legion of Honor.
