ACP Presents: My Journey of Leveraging Military Skills for IT Innovation at S&P Global

On April 11th, ACP and S&P Global hosted a webinar showing an inside look at the company’s dynamic IT culture and growth opportunities. S&P Global is a marketing intelligence company that provides iconic and innovative index solutions backed by unparalleled expertise across the asset-class spectrum. They service various corporations, investment and commercial banks, insurance companies, and more. They have partnered with ACP since 2016 to provide exceptional volunteerism to our transitioning Veterans and their Military Spouses.

The panel featured S&P Global employees Susy Rim, a Veteran and Process Engineering Manager, and Abdul Rauf, a Senior Software Development Manager. The panelists discussed their personal experiences stepping into IT and how the S&P Global has helped them leverage their skills. They went over the job market, various programs to explore, and how best to showcase yourself when transitioning out and looking to expand your network. The event concluded with a live Q&A session with the virtual audience.
