UPS Hosts Résumé Building Event for ACP Participants in Atlanta

On Tuesday, September 22, 2015 approximately 40 ACP Protégés attended a résumé building event hosted by UPS at its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

The evening began as a panel discussion centered on using your résumé to market yourself to corporations.  The panel was facilitated by Lloyd Knight of UPS and included Patrick Haddock of Coca-Cola, Bethany George of Home Depot, Tracy Roberts of UPS, and Jean Thomson of the Department of Veteran Affairs. After the panel concluded, corporate volunteers met one-on-one with veteran attendees to review their résumés and offer tips for a successful job search process. Attendee David commented, "The event gave a tremendous amount of valuable information to consider as well as a high level of feedback from the corporate world!"
